Founded in 2004, Payette Seeds Ltd. began from humble roots in Mike and Arlette's home yard, built on a passion for agriculture and a dedication to supporting local farmers. What started as a small, family-run business has grown into a trusted name in agricultural inputs, serving the community with premium seeds, specialty fertilizers, and expert advice.
For over a decade, Payette Seeds operated from their home yard working long days and late nights, fostering strong relationships with local farmers. In 2016, the business expanded to a new, purpose-built location just outside of Rathwell, allowing for enhanced services, greater efficiency, and a larger product selection.
Today, Payette Seeds remains deeply committed to its founding values of trust, honesty, and reliable service. As a family-run operation, we understand the challenges farmers face and are proud to be a partner in helping our customers achieve their growing goals.

Mike Payette
With over 40 years of industry experience, Mike has spent time working for many major agricultural retails in the industry before founding Payette Seeds Ltd as a Pioneer Sales Representative in 2004.

Arlette Payette
Arlette is dedicated to ensuring that all operations run smoothly by meticulously organizing paperwork and maintaining accurate records providing essential team and grower support.

Associate Sales Representative
Luc Payette
Luc studied at the University of Manitoba graduating with a BSc. in Agriculture. Luc spent time working as a summer student at Pioneer Hi-Bred and Bayer Crop Science before becoming a Payette Seeds employee.
